PHPM residents can also apply to the Queen’s Clinician Investigator Program (CIP), a Royal College-accredited research training program. More information about the CIP is available here.
All Queen’s residents are invited to attend the Queen’s Conference on Academic Residency Education (QCARE) each year. Senior residents are invited to attend the QCARE+ workshop for senior residents focusing on practice management and liability. Residents are also able to attend seminars on research skills and Residents as Teachers, held periodically throughout the year. Funding is provided on an annual basis for education leave to attend additional conferences and courses.
