Public Health & Preventive Medicine National Review Course
The National Review Course (NRC) is hosted jointly by Queen's PHPM and UBC PHPM programs. We are pleased to continue to offer participants three attendance options: in-person in Kingston, ON; in-person in Vancouver, BC; or virtually via Zoom (including asynchronous attendance).
The course is an intensive review of the knowledge and competencies of the PHPM specialty offered annually to all Canadian PGY4 and 5residents from Royal College training programs in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, as well as practicing physicians. Junior residents are also welcome to join, however it is worth noting content is directed towards more senior learners. National-level teachers have been selected to instruct the course which will include review and application of key concepts and examples for written and oral Royal College examination preparation. The course objectives align with the PHPM Royal College objectives of training. We have also identified entrustable professional activities and core curricula linked to each topic.
Details on the upcoming NRC can be found here.
