Dr. Kieran Moore and his research team have been awarded $4M to battle Lyme disease across Canada.
Funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Pan-Canadian Research Network on Lyme Disease will bring together scientists, clinicians, and patients to advance the science of Lyme disease prevention and control, diagnosis, and treatment.
A professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Emergency, Dr. Moore is Queen’s Public Health and Preventive Medicine Director and Medical Officer of Health for KFL&A Public Health.
Dr. Michael Green is among other Queen’s researchers who will be a part of the research network.
