Roles: Hospital Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
Key responsibilities: Staff Physician, responsible for providing medical coverage at the Providence Transitional Care Center (PTCC) and for providing addiction medicine consultations, ongoing care, and care co-ordination for KSHC patients.
Education: Dr. Wildenboer-Williams received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pretoria in 1989. She completed her internship at Potchefstroom Hospital in South Africa in 1990. She went on to receive a BSc Honors (Pharm)Honors Degree in Pharmacology at Potchefstroom University in 1991; obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene in 1996 at University of the Witwatersrand; and obtained her ECG examination, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Saskatchewan in 2014. She also obtained her College of Family Physicians of Canada certification in 2002. She then went on to become a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2013, Diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine in 2004, and a Certificant of the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine in 2004.
