Attending staff, stroke and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and mental health programs.

Attending physician of family medicine specialty, and hospital medicine.
Key responsibilities:
Attending physician responsible for providing patient care for individuals within the stroke and musculoskeletal rehabilitation program, and the geriatric mental health program; under the umbrella of the Department of Hospital Medicine.
Providing educational opportunities to medical students, clerks and residents.
Education:
MD, M.B.Ch., Tanta University in Egypt (2005); Completed NAC OSCE Exam at the Centre for Evaluation of Health Professionals Educated Abroad (2013); LMCC Certification from the Medical Counsel of Canada (2016); Completed Clinical Skills assessment and training program (CSAT) at Memorial University of Newfoundland (2016), CCFP designation 2020.

About Me:
Dr. Hanna is an Egyptian-Canadian physician, who completed her medical degree from Tanta University in Egypt and managed to practice family medicine in rural and urban centers in Egypt.
Dr. Hanna immigrated to Canada where she completed her LMCC Certification in 2016 and subsequently joined the clinical skills assessment and training program with Memorial University of Newfoundland. She practiced in a variety of clinical settings in Newfoundland and Labrador including, but not limited to, ER, primary care clinics, Category A and B hospitals, large tertiary centers, long-term care and protective care units.
Subsequently, she returned to Ontario where she joined the Department of Family Medicine with Queen’s University in 2022.
