Ken is the Information & Technology Manager on the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network (CPCSSN) project. He is responsible for planning and coordinating the collection of EMR data from the 10 regional offices across Canada, supervising regional Data Managers, managing relationships with EMR vendors, developing processes and infrastructure required to implement the extraction, cleaning and uploading of EMR data into the central data repository and facilitating the development of query/reporting tools for use with the CPCSSN data repository for research purposes. Ken brings over 20 years of experience developing a wide variety of database end user applications for private and public sector clients, including roles as chief software architect and senior developer of a major EMR product, project manager for and senior developer of a trade export information system used around the world in Canadian embassies. He has a BSc in Computer Science & Mathematics from Acadia University and a MSc in Computing & Information Science from Queen's University.
