The residents will be evaluated throughout the course of the year, and should be formally provided with feedback at various points. Evaluation will be completed by individuals responsible for supervision, including the following:
- Family medicine mentors.
- Supervising family physicians in family medicine placements
- Therapists supervising counselling
- Elective supervisors.
- Others with whom the resident interacts frequently who would like to give input, such as faculty from Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and staff of the Eating Disorders Clinic, Women's Clinic, and community placements.
- Residents may be expected to complete the coursework of any courses they attend as part of their evaluation.
Certification
On completion of the third year specializing in Women's Health, residents will receive documentation from the Department of Family Medicine and Queen's University recognizing their training.
